At The Park

Since we are enjoying the one non-humid, non-scorching hot day that we get a year in Houston, we spent a little time at the park on the swing. He loved it! We skillfully avoided the newly blossoming ant piles and had a great time! Enjoy!

Child Mobility: God's Patience Maker

Well, our little boy turned nine months old last Monday and his world has become much broader now that he can crawl on his hands and knees. Some people question whether God has a sense of humor, but I can tell you that he does. When He sees me scurry into a room, chasing down my speedster, prying him off of plugs or the DVD player, pulling "floor treasures" out of his mouth, or just trying to keep up with his 2 second attention span, I know the Good Lord is laughing because I used to do this to my parents. Between my first year and my teens, its a miracle my Dad's hair is only silver and has not all fallen out! I hope to have the same luck!

Otherwise, Will and I spend our days building blanket forts in the living room, going on errands, going to the park, napping, and leading a life of leisure and relaxation. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

The first eight photos are a sequence of Mommy and Daddy selfishly attempting to dress Will up and take his nine month photos. As Mommy aptly noted, "I see why people hire professional photographers..."

Castle Dagley: Notice the Lions Guarding the Entrance (A puppy and a bear). We also have mail capability and a car. It's quite elegant.

Anyone can take their pants off one leg at a time. It takes real skill to shimmy out of your church clothes on tile. I really was hoping the streaking gene wasn't a genetic one...ah well.
