It's becoming so real!
With 8-1/2 weeks left before the big arrival of Baby D, Sam and I started some classes at Memorial Hermann hospital today! Today's topic: Infant Care. OK, so I took this course as more of a refresher since I have changed millions of diapers before, etc...but oh boy. This was way more information than could've ever imagined we would need! Sam and I are probably more overwhelmed now than we were before the class. By the time we left, I realized I only knew about half of what they covered, so I am soooo glad we went! Next week we have our big "Prepared Childbirth" class which is an all day affair. It is all becoming so real - I can't believe we are going to be parents in just 2 short months. Our prayers have been kicked into high gear at this point! It is so cool that God has chosen us to be the parents of this little one - that is HEAVY STUFF!!

It IS heavy stuff...but as long as you remember that God is your Guider and Confider and Protector and Leader and...well everything, you're good to go. Everything will be great! You two will be fabulous parents. And, well, you have a big sister that would be glad to keep that little one any time (you know, with as close as we live and all, that should be easy!??!)
