Will and I just got back from his first pediatrician's visit! Everything went well and he got a big healthy baby report! When we left the hospital on June 10th, Will was weighing 7 lbs 10 oz... one week and 6 days later, he is already up to 8 lbs 12 oz! He grew an inch and is now 21" long. Unfortunately the nurse had to prick his little heel again, and we saw the infamous "tomato face" and quivering lip which just broke my heart (and man, his lungs are STRONG!). What am I going to do when he actually has to get his shots? Hopefully his Daddy can be there with me for that experience! (Although I'm sure it hurts the parents more than it does the baby!)
Dr. "Y" was very helpful and gave me suggestions on how to train Will to get his days and nights straight. Hopefully it will work! Right now, Will is like clockwork at night and wakes up to feed every 2 hours and during the day is eating probably every 3-4 hours. I would love for that to be reversed so we can get a few more zzz's at night!
We will upload some more pictures soon - he has changed a lot!
