During the weekend, I got an especially awesome gift. My grandmother, Mimi, knitted an awesome truckers cap for Will. I had one like it when I was Will's age and it was so amazing that she took the time to knit another cap for my son. She is an incredible woman, and a great matriarch of the Dagley family. She also makes some wicked awesome chicken fried steak, so if your ever in Waco, drop by and try some, and remember, gratuity is always appreciated (I am assuming I get a cut for this ad...) Anyhow, we had the opportunity to snap some photo's of Will in the hat. I have to say, he has some Clark Gable-esque qualities already in this hat. Parent's, lock up your daughters! The photo's of our handsome, debonair young man are below.
On a final note, I have noticed a recent trend in my language that is quite disturbing. I have noticed that my generally broad and robust legally inspired vocabulary has been replaced by words like "binky", "cute 'lil' onesie", "oooooo big poopie", and "that's a big spitup for a little boy". I am asking you all for your help. I need a heart transplant, because apparently mine has been melted by my little son (I am assuming the heart and tongue are connected in some way). If you all hear me saying "Yes you are" or "can you burp for Daddy?" please take me aside for an intervention. I need help people.
Please enjoy the photo's below, I know I will, because they are just so cutsie wootsie....oh no.

Great pictures...and your vocabulary will eventually change, probably not back to your "legal jargon" but to, "No, please do not touch, jump, kick, throw, talk back to Mommy/Daddy," and "You are my best good pal (that's a Cody and Jackson phrase they shoot back to one another...it is just so cute!!)"...well, you get my drift. Good luck...you sound and look like you are adjusting to parenthood. Oh, by the way, I love the BU shirt. We have recently taken to teaching J "sic em bears!" Unfortunately, he seems to be a Longhorns fan, more or less...a little more green and gold brainwashing is needed!!
