Today is Will's first Fourth of July and, naturally, our first as parents! As a special treat to us, Will slept for five and a half hours last night! That is the first time he has accomplished that feat, and Mommy and Daddy were very excited, and rested, this morning! On another note, Will decided to have an early fireworks show yesterday, resulting in a wet onesie, a soaked shirt on Daddy, three ruined diapers, and a lot of crying on every end. It was an epic blowout that I am sure many fireworks stands would be jealous of.
Mommy and Daddy are doing very well and enjoying each and every day with Will. He is such a blessing and is starting to become very alert. On the plus side, it is fun to see him explore the world with his eyes, on the down side, we now have no idea at all what he is cooing or screaming at. It could be a wet diaper or a ceiling fan. This has turned into quite the guessing game between Mommy and Daddy as to what he might be seeing.
Lastly, from the Dagley's of Sugar Land to all of you, we wish you a great Independence Day and we thank all those who have served and sacrificed to make this the greatest country on earth with freedoms that so many others do not have. God Bless America!
